Sales Consultants

Effective planning and organizing at all times to ensure that the business requirements and customers expectations are met. Develop and maintain a daily, weekly and monthly activity planner to ensure continuous productivity of the business unit. Monthly planner to be completed by the 20th of every month for the new month and submitted to management. Feedback to management at least 3 times daily as to keep everyone abreast as to achievements and non achievements for the day. Build sustainable relationships with the customers. Must be target/sales driven and self driven to ensure maximum sales. Sales is vital as monthly targets HAVE to be achieved. Ensure sales targets are met, if not exceeded by means of:
Ø Contacting new customers daily, minimum of 5 customers per day (initially), as this will build up your client base. (use attached document) Ø Follow up with existing customers that have purchased from you on a consistent schedule - courtesy calls - and obtain leads and referrals. Ø Update customers on all new merchandise and dates of arrivals. Ø Have thorough knowledge of your products, set up a flip file with a list of the products (product/s catalogue) in the store with specifications, features etc Ø Set up appointments with these customers to come to the store. Ø Be creative by means of ideas on how to attract customers to the store and also making yourself known to customers in the area, market yourself Ø Explore neighbouring areas and introduce yourself and source new business Ø Make contact with small businesses in and around the area with the intention to drive new business Ø Develop a relationship with personnel in the vehicle finance department at the banks; this will assist in obtaining more leads, resulting in more business.Ø Establish the customer’s needs and desires and gather all applicable information on the relevant products, customer will see you as a knowledgeable salesperson. Ø Ensure demo’s are done with all potential customers where possible. Ensure excellent after sales service to customers. Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Ensure that all controls are in place as to avoid non profitability of the store. Ensure that you meet your budgeted sales targets as set out for you. Ensure that all processes and control sheets are completed accurately daily. Have knowledge of the quantity of fast moving stock that you have in stock. Ensure that all customer orders is completed accurately within the required time frame as to eliminate any discrepancies that may occur. Ensure all accessories have product codes and prices on them as this will assist customers and save you time from running around looking for prices in the presence of customers. This is a silent salesman. Remember we need to portray a professional image. Ensure that an accurate record of items (spreadsheet) that the customers are looking for in the store that we do not stock. This will assist when international orders are done.
We offer a market related basic salary with a very lucrative commission structure.
