**Job Advert Summary**:
A managerial role in the Marketing Management team, to increase the reach and impact of PPS’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential marketing, communications and PR in South Africa and Namibia. Will manage a small communications team, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high quality work and will have an active role in implementing marketing and communication activities of the PPS group.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education**:

- B-Degree / Technology degree in Marketing, Commerce, Arts, Communications, public relations
- Postgraduate Diploma or Honours in relevant fields advantageous

**10 years’ experience in**:

- 8-10 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications or Brand Management experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a management role within marketing
- Proven track record in establishment of a new networks and collaborative relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing management principles and practices
- Knowledge and experience in financial services environment would be advantageous

- A strategic and creative thinker with proven experience of working on diverse and wide-ranging communication strategies including all forms of media
- Contribute to organisational objectives and show resilience in the face of changing priorities Experience of developing and managing strong and complex relationships across business units as part of a centralised function and externally with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly with a range of people from diverse backgrounds

- Demonstrates awareness of market trends and opportunities and keeps up to date with competitor developments impacting area of responsibility

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Communication**:

- Drives the development and implementation of an internal and external communication strategy that informs and engages staff and stakeholders.
Ensures the execution of communication plans and initiatives in alignment with organizational requirements and in support of the overall communication strat
- Measures the delivery of operational plans, realigns, and improves where required.
Designs, produces, and manages fit-for-purpose communications capability and materials that deliver clear and positive messages to the target audience i.e. members, the public, regulators, and staff.
- Manage various publications for staff, members, and other stakeholder groups.

**Public Relations**:
Drives corporate communications and media relations strategy and message development, pitch, and announcement strategies in order to favorably present the organizations identity and brands.
Develop a public relations plan quarterly ensuring various business units get adequate exposure
Manage the member communication calendar and ensure fair distribution of opportunities
Drive exposure of PPS activities such as research reports or newsworthy achievements from the company
Maintain the crisis playbook Maintain the PPS crisis playbook
Ensures that any spokesperson/s representing PPS in their official capacity is suitably competent to do so.

**Positioning and content management**:

- Collaborate with PPS stakeholders on marketing campaigns, webinars, and content creation (blog, eBooks, guides, annual reports, and video)
Ensure consistent positioning of PPS across various communications platforms
- Edit written work submitted by various areas in the business
- Develop content for social platforms E
- Ensure content accuracy on the PPS website
- Conduct regular quality assurance on all communication media to identify trends to ensure improved consistent delivery, relevance, and accuracy.Pro

**Communications technology**:

- Builds and sustains a communication infrastructure and framework (i.e. channels and media) to enable the delivery of business objectives
- Comply with the processes required in terms of legislative and audit requirements in the marcomms space
- Measure effectiveness of Communications and Public Relations efforts

**Digital Marketing**:

- Oversee communication on our digital platforms - content creation for social media platforms
- Ensure community management is adequately implemented
- Support Head of Communications in delivery of business objectives, guidance to team members, development of a team culture and credibility of the marketing department within the larger business

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Liaise with all media agencies for buying, adver
