As an External B2B Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business-to-business (B2B) clients in the food industry. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling vegan and meat alternative products to distributors, retailers, and other relevant partners in the Johannesburg area.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate the vegan and meat alternatives market.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential B2B clients, including distributors, retailers, and foodservice providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
- Collaborate with existing clients to understand their needs and identify upsell opportunities.
- Sales Presentations and Product Knowledge:
- Conduct product presentations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our vegan and meat alternative products.
- Stay informed about industry developments and product innovations to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Sales Targets and Reporting:
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market feedback.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts and agreements.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the **food industry**.
- Knowledge of the vegan and meat alternatives market is a strong advantage.
- A valid driver's license and own transport is essential.
- Certificate / Diploma/bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B sales experience.
