Start the new year of on a positive note by joining the CIB Cash Management team as Head Product Collections where you will be driving, developing and implementing the strategic direction and managing as well as influencing the execution of tactical activities for the specific product areas.

The role is within the Transactional Banking business, specifically Cash Management South Africa. The role reports into the Head of Cash Management SA, from a line and business performance perspective but has an extensive array of stakeholders to be engaged and aligned. The successful individual will inherit an existing team with a myriad of skillsets and experience. Additional head count will be approved on presentation of strong business plan. The individual will be required:
To plan, develop and grow the product area

To clearly articulate the vision / direction of the product and the product priorities.

To build consensus across the organisation on the product direction and priorities and obtain commitment from stakeholders across the group to align behind the product plans.

**Job Description**:
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver a compelling and insights led Product Proposition offering that aligns to and enables the business and customer strategies
- Responsible for building a revenue diversification strategy and identify new business opportunities
- Develop and grow the market through the development of new revenue generating propositions and the enhancement of existing solutions
- Creation and management of a robust and current product roadmap that has been comprehensively socialised and adopted by Executive, Technology and Commercialisation teams
- Develop comprehensive business cases for identified strategic propositions, as well as coordinate contract development (where required)
- Management of budgets allocated for the key initiatives managed within that business.
- Comprehensive tracking of benefits realisation from both strategic and BAU initiatives.
- Identification of all key internal and external stakeholders that are critical for success of the business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all Senior Managers and Executives to ensure that the correct long-term view is obtained for the growth and success of the Product environment
- Adherence to the governance processes and structures outlined for the specific Business Area and the Bank at large.
- Ensure that processes, control requirements and risk management frameworks that impact the area are documented and understood by all members of the team

Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, banking, Economics and / or equivalent work experience.
- Post Graduate degree (NQF Level 7) will be advantageous
