**This position reports to the Inbound Operations Manager.**

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Deliver world-class customer experience_:

- Drive down return rates & maximizing profitability for Takealot using a variety of methods, including:

- Product deactivations based on quality assurance guidelines.
- Ensuring serial number databases are kept up to date.
- Reviewing all promotional material for high defect rate products
- Handling buyer/seller deactivation appeals
- Manage Reverse Logistics by decreasing and maintaining the volumes in the DC
- Reconciling all receiving discrepancies with Warehouse, Suppliers, and internal Accounts Payable team (incl. facilitating feedback to continuously improve process)
- Work with your team/across departments to clear out and minimise reverse logistics_
- Manage buyers and products to reduce the return rate
- Manage reverse logistics by reducing the RFC's and implementing and aligning processes
- Manage all Administrative tasks for the department by capturing and maintaining supplier databases
- Managing Supplier Stock File Compliance
- Manage the Administrative team including the personal relations, individual performance, deadlines, and expectations

**Attributes required**:

- Ability to motivate, manage, discipline, and develop team members
- Strong prioritization, time management and project management skills

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years process improvement / logistics experience
- Proven track record of managing teams
- Matric
- Degree will be advantageous
