HR Assistant

**Job Outline**:
Staff -Administration, Updating, Team building, Staff training, Leave, Filing, Intakes, Discharges, Tracking processes, Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department, Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records. Manage the storage, processes, tools and templates for Personnel administration in one central and cloud-based system. Comply with legislative requirements regarding the collection, storage and access controls for employee information. Manage and coordinate the audit checklist and compliance processes for all HR information. Audit and manage the integrity of employee data flow and storage. Report on employee movements at the end of each month. Assist with legislative schedules and returns for Stakeholders. Assist with recruitment and terminations as per Company Policies and Procedures. Assist with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). Employment Equity (EE) Committee reporting and updating. Human Resource Information Systems - Manage the integrity of accurate information on H.R.I.S. systems.
**Minimum Requirements**
Minimum of 3-5 years Human Resources experience, Knowledge of PaySpace HRIS and payroll system and SAGE Pastel payroll (Advantageous), Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act, LRA. PSIRA Act and NBCPSS Agreement, Best practice administration in compliance, Strong Administration skills, Relevant Qualification, Relevant experience within an HR function, Microsoft Word (intermediate - mail merges, format documents, outline numbering, split pages, headers, etc), Microsoft Excel (intermediate - pivot tables, graphs, formulas, linking documents for data integrity)

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R11,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- HR: 3 years (required)
- Microsoft Excel and Word: 2 years (required)
License/Certification:
- HR qualification or experience (required)
- Knowledge of all applicable labour legislation (required)
