Durban, South Africa Libra Marketing & Sales Full time

One of South Africa's leading Hardware Wholesaler Distributor based in Johannesburg is looking for External Sales Representatives to join our amazing team. The individuals must be based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal and areas they will be targeting are Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Dolphin Coast and surrounding areas ending at Port Edward.

**Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of the industry with own contacts
- Computer Literate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle;
- Energetic, creative, innovative and enthusiastic individual who has a **passion for sales;**:

- Proven track record of over-achieving quota;
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
- Strong administration, marketing and sales acumen
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- High levels of personal integrity
- Reliable and punctual
- Planning and organising skills
- Self-driven, results and target orientated
- Be able to work in a pressurised environment
- Willing to travel long distances where required

**Responsibilities**:

- Visiting clients on a regular basis
- Achievement of targets set for the area being serviced
- Ensuring relevant customer pricelists are up to date and done in a timeous manner
- Strong on business development by sourcing new sales opportunities,
- Appropriate technical expertise, sound sale background and ability to provide product support and customer service;
- Consultative seller, maintain and grow the portfolio;
- Sending of detailed daily call reports
- Driving and developing relationships with clients new and existing
- Marketing the range to said customer base through regional / or ad-hoc promotions
- Creating and developing a long-term plan of action and strategy for the allocated area
- Working together with internal sales to assist driving performance
- Identify prospects and risks and develop appropriate strategies for each client
- Analysing data and insights to determine consumer trends and increase sales
- Attend training where required to increase knowledge of new ranges and / or refresher course for existing product
- Planning and executing customer events that will drive and promote the business
- Analyse and develop appropriate reports

**Pay**:

- Small Basic + **High Commission**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
