**Our well-known client with regional offices all over the country has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator. This is the ideal opportunity to put your payroll experience to use with this distinctive company. They are looking for a technical strong Payroll Administratorto come in and hit the ground running at their** **Head Office in Killarney Gardens / Atlantic Hills.**
Preparation and processing of the monthly / bi-weekly wages payroll for all employees which will involve:
Earnings/ deduction input (Normal hours, overtime, loans, garnishee etc.)
Link methods for pension or medical aid deduction on new employees/ changes
Process increases/ bonuses
New employee’s termination admin
Leave processing (ensure employees are taking leave within protocol of the company policy
Distribution of payslips
Creating standard and adhoc reports e.g., monthly new hire and termination reports, headcount reports, overtime reports
Responsible for all tax related activities, compliance status and tax issue resolutions
Responsible for e-filing submissions
Working with the Time and Attendance system
Reconciliations and payments to external parties: PAYE, skills and UIF as well as all third-party payments as to the medical aid, provident fund, loans and garnishees
Handling all payroll queries
Export information from the payroll
Filing of all the appropriate documentation and reports
Making backups and arranging save keeping of records
Reconciliation of all payroll data and ensuring that the correct payments are made
Managing and processing payroll for over 200 employees
Full function administration on new employee on boarding, terminations and transfers
Capture information for Pension Fund for withdrawals, contribution and death claims
Process payroll according to internal policies, procedures, and work instructions
Ensure payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; ensuring proper calculation of taxes and deductions and associated SARS submissions
Participating in year-end process including year-end adjustments, year-end tax statements and review of year-end tax filing information
Extract payroll reports as required to determine all data is accurate
Resolve payroll queries received from employees
Maintain accurate record keeping
Ad hoc duties as required in the payroll department
Deliver an accurate and excellent customer service to all employees
Capture payroll information and ensure data integrity
Calculate employee wages, process payroll and handle payroll queries
Work cross-functionally with other departments to automate and simplify payroll systems and processes (IRP5, EMP501, PAYE Recons, and Statement of Accounts from SARS)
**Education**:
Matric
Diploma / Certificate (Payroll / Bookkeeping)
Minimum 3-4 yeas’ full payroll function experience (wages & salary payrolls)
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook & Sage 300
Up to date with the latest payroll and tax legislation
Drivers Licence
Highly organized and flexible
Strong numerical skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Task and deadline orientated
**Salary**: R28,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
