Payroll Administrator

We are a reputable Air Conditioning Company based in Montague Gardens, currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our fast-paced Payroll Department.
**Role Overview**:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Payroll Manager with various administrative tasks. This is a developing role, and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**Employee Onboarding**:
- Verify all information received from HR Administrator and load it onto the payroll program.
- Accurately capturing of employee data on the payroll program
**Timekeeping and Attendance**:
- Verifying and reconciling of employee timekeeping data on ERS Bio before importing it into the payroll program.
- Collect and manage leave forms and missing timesheets for inclusion in the payroll import sheet.
**Communication and Coordination**:
- Maintain regular communication with HR Administration regarding payroll-related documents and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
**Monthly Processes**:
- Pull required reports at the end of each month.
- Prepare monthly Union schedules and Bargaining Council schedules and Payments.
- Capturing and reconciling of staff loan accounts.
**General Payroll Administration**:
- Coordinate general Payroll administration tasks across the Southern Air Group of companies.
**Requirements**:
- Matric / Senior Certificate
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- At least 3 years’ experience within a similar role. This is non-negotiable.
- Payspace Payroll experience would be advantageous.
- ERS Bio experience would be advantageous.
- Strong Ms Excel skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montague Gardens, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Payspace Software: 1 year (preferred)
- ERS Bio Software: 1 year (preferred)
- Payroll Administrator: 3 years (preferred)
