**Purpose**

We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities.

If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look of how our company approaches payroll, recruiting and employee development, we’d like to meet you.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Ensure that personnel files are kept up to date
- Perform reference checks and criminal checks
- Assist with Administrative tasks related to recruitment and selection process
- Assist with termination and on-boarding processes and procedures
- Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours and bank accounts
- Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management/industrial psychology
- Previous HR experience will be advantageous but is not essential
- Clear criminal record

- Montague Gardens, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
