Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager - Private Sector to join a team based at the Head Office in Waterfall. This role reports directly to the Sales Director, in the Integrated Business Unit.

The purpose of this position is a technically focused salesperson who has a proven track record and experience in selling integrated facilities management and technical facilities management solutions within the Private sector. To join the already established sales team to meet and exceed sales targets within the private sector.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Consistently achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Ensure sufficient sales and networking activities are conducted in order to identify opportunities for facilities management contracts
- Ensure that pipeline and percentage to close targets are 100% up to date on a weekly basis on the CRM System
- Ensure accurate reports are submitted to the Sales Executive on a monthly basis
- Ensure all proposals and tenders meet the minimum required brand and quality guidelines
- Ensure relevant, innovative and competitive solutions are created to maximise every sales opportunity
- Ensure that all proposals are hand delivered and presented to the customer unless an electronic copy is requested
- Ensure that all proposals and tenders are vetted by the Bid / No-bid process
- All proposals must be signed by off by the Managing Director, Operations Director, vetted by the Sales Executive and must have followed the approval levels required in the sales process
- All NDA’s, Procurement Agreements and Contracts are to be pre-approved by Servest’s legal department before sign off
- Consistently achieve sales targets that meet the business objectives
- Generate new sales using the existing and potential customer networks
- Responsible for developing a network of customers within the sector that drives pro-active business opportunities to build a solid and predicative pipeline
- Ensure a high level of all competitor activity within the sector and industry
- Profile leadership (C Suite) and business activity and performance for each target account

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**ENHANCED REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12
- B Degree Technical or equivalent
- Facilities Management certification advantageous; Facilities management sales environment; Understanding of the industrial and mining sector
- Project Management advantageous
- 5 years high performance sale experience; Experience in the building environment
- Computer literacy on MS Office Packages (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Own reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license

**CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Strong background and experience in selling complex technical solutions and service offerings at senior levels within organisations
- Understanding of the technical components which comprise a complete integrated solution offering; Ability to listen closely to customers in order to translate business issues and priorities into a technical solutions ; Business development experience including targeting new business prospects and account planning
- Strong financial experience in terms of proposal development and sales experience at a management level; Working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in facilities management; Good understanding of SLA’s and Management contracts; Management and negotiation skills; Consultative sales experience and attitude
- Strong communication skills - both written, oral and presentation, Excellent presentation skills; Ability to lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team
