HSE/ Safety Officer/ Administrator - Mining

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric/ Grade 12
Currently Living in Centurion
Valid Driver's License
Minimum 5 years HSE experience in the mining industry

Experience with building safety files
Accident and incident recording and investigation
SAMTRAC/ COMSOC
HIRA
Legal Liability Training

**Skills**:

To ensure the Health, Safety and Legal compliance with customer and company requirements:
Compile, update and maintain safety files

Correspondence with customers
Customer site visits
Arrange and coordinate inductions and medical bookings and communicate for staff.
Attend SHE / Contractor meetings
Attend and participate in SHE Committee Meetings
Prepare monthly SHE Branch Reports
Assist with the review, amendment and implementation of policies and procedures.
Communication and coordination of Safe Work Procedures to staff.
Planning, arranging and coordinating SHE related training
Maintaining and updating all relevant SHE documents both electronic and otherwise
Conduct safety Inductions
Over inspect monthly checklists from time to time.
Report any non-conformances
Investigate the root cause of SHE incidents/accidents or near misses
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses.
Perform any other work SHE related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to
- by management.
Assist the HR department with weekly/ monthly payroll and attendance reporting
Assist the HR department with implementation and communication of HR policies and notices as and when required

Provide general administration and assistance to the SHE Manager as and when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
