Procurement Officer

Johannesburg North, South Africa Global Technology Full time

**Duties will include but is not limited to**:

- Evaluating suppliers, maintaining relationships, approving products, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of materials, parts, or goods
- Create and maintain relationships with venders/suppliers
- Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Review all venders and suppliers
- Maintain purchase records and other important data
- Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
- Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
- Work with team members to complete duties as needed
- Make sure products are delivered on time

**Minimum Requirements**
- Relevant working experience within the same or similar role.
- Valid driver's licence
- Relevant tertiary education would be an advantage but not a must
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to negotiate contracts
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, organised team player
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

**Package & Remuneration**
- Industry Related, depending on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg North, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
