**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment Support**:
- Assist in posting job advertisements on relevant platforms.
- Assist in conducting background checks and reference checks.
- **Employee Records Management**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Process new hire paperwork and conduct orientation sessions.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Update HR databases with changes in employee information.
- **Training and Development Coordination**:
- Assist in organizing training programs and workshops.
- Coordinate training logistics, including venue booking and participant registration.
- Track training attendance and compile training reports.
- Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and collecting feedback.
- **HR Compliance**:
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts and related documentation.
- Support in the administration of disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
- **Payroll Support**:
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee payments.
- Verify timesheets and attendance records.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
- **General Administrative Support**:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations.
- Assist in organizing HR events and initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of HR-related information.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or relevant HR role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of HR software and databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with South African labor laws and regulations preferred.
