**Digital Manager Job Description**

**Job Purpose**

The **Digital Accounts Manager’s **main role is to develop, implement and oversee the digital marketing strategies of our clients and ensure that their digital goals are met. The Digital Accounts Manager’s focus is on advertising, digital marketing, and e-commerce. The Digital Accounts Manager is expected to bridge the gap between our clients and the customer’s clients. The ideal person should be sociable, creative individual with the ability to interpret the client’s digital needs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Determine the client’s needs by conducting in-person or electronic meetings with the client to outline their needs.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy for assigned clients.
- Oversee the client’s online presence, then identify areas of improvements.
- Present effective social media strategies
- Analyse the effectiveness of digital strategies by tracking metrics such as customer conversion rates and cost-per-click.
- Build and sustain a strong and long-lasting relationship with clients.
- Co-ordinate internal strategic, creative, media and production teams to deliver work that effectively answer clients’ questions.
- Handling status documents and campaign costs
- Assist with monitoring effectiveness of campaigns to ensure clients campaigns are properly planned and reported on against campaign objectives, KPIs and Metrics
- Maintain the current knowledge and trends of the Digital Marketing trends in order to advise the clients on any new developments on the digital marketing landscapes and developments.
- Maintain the budget at all times without exceeding the client’s expectations.
- Deliver the job within the expected time frame.

**Key Competencies**
- **Computer Literacy**:Proficient in Microsoft Office/Canva
- **Excellent Customer Service**:Always maintain the highest standards of client service and deliver as per client’s request.
- **Team Leadership**: Motivate and lead the team, fostering a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
- **Briefing-in**:Brief the design team on what the client expects and deliver on time.
- **Reporting**: Report on digital advertising campaign performances
- Copy writing and editing skills
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and writing skills)
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational skills
- Time management
- An understanding of websites, digital and social media projects and account management.
- Extensive Knowledge in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik Tok and You-tube.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
- A Certificate in Digital Marketing Management is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in digital accounts manager or similar
- Proficiency in digital Marketing tools, such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Google Analytics

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
