Claims Administrator

**Role Purpose**
As a Claims Administrator in our dynamic insurance team, you will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for excellent service. At RBS Insurance Brokers, we value integrity, efficiency, and collaboration. Your work will directly impact our clients' satisfaction and our operational success.
Financial:
- Ensure appropriate minimisation of claims and claims expenses
- Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses
Client:
- Maintain professional, accurate, and timely communications with all stakeholders including clients, account executives, and insurers.
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal (e.g. account executives) and external (e.g. clients) stakeholders
Business Processes:
Strictly adhere to company quality standards and regulatory requirements, manage internal records, and update claim statuses as and not limited to:
- Claims Administration
Receive claims notifications, register claims on the CIMS system timeously and accurately and forward the claim details to the insurer
Request all outstanding forms and documents from the client as required by the insurer
Keep internal system and records up to date at all times including the capturing of payments made by the insurer for record purposes only
keep relevant internal stakeholders up to date on the progress of registered claims
Participate and contribute in ad hoc projects.
Report any suspected fraud, misrepresentation and/or dishonesty
Ensure that monthly claims reports are received from the insurer and that the claim on the system is updated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- ** Essential**:Matric or equivalent; proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ** Desirable**:FAIS qualification/credits; RE Certificate
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring precision in all tasks
Minimum Experience:
- 1 - 2 years experience as a Claims administrator (Personal Lines and Commercial)
