One of our clients is seeking a go getter who can operate in the role of Marketing & General Administration Assistant.

This individual will need to assist with developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns for the Company’s vast range of products. Furthermore, the employee will also be required to proactively provide general administrative support internally. The employee in this role will be expected to perform a full range of office administration support functions including but not limited to the duties and responsibilities listed below.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1. Marketing**
- Generating content and planning calendar for social media channels.
- Daily monitoring and handling of queries received via social media channels.
- Copyright and content creation for point of sale / marketing material.
- Assisting team members with proofreading of marketing material.
- Assist with creating marketing material such as eflyers, presentations etc. via creative platforms such as PowerPoint and Canva.
- Measure and report brand performance and providing insights for improvement.
- Identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth.
- Maintaining a marketing database.
- Update and finalize TDS’s according to the standard templates and input from Technical / Marketing.

**2. General Administration**
- Provide administrative support to assigned team members, which include material preparation, data entry and other general administrative tasks. The key goal of this function is to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Draft, edit, and finalize various letters, reports, or other forms of documentation for internal and external distribution.
- Assist Management with clerical duties such as printing, faxing, copying, as well as organizing and maintaining files.
- Assist with the annual renewal of vehicle licenses and change of vehicle ownerships with the relevant service provider when required.
- Assist with switchboard relief as and when required.
- Screening phone calls and routing calls to the appropriate party
- Taking concise and appropriate messages when the relevant personnel is unavailable.
- Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts
- Keep detailed meeting notes.
- Collate and distribute mail using the various platforms i.e. Outlook, Everlytic. − Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3 years of Marketing & Administrative Assistant experience
- Type 65 words per minute
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Canva.
- Valid driver’s license (own transport)

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R10,500.00 per month
