**Join Our Team as Head of Facilities in a Dynamic Contact Centre**

Are you a results orientated leader who is comfortable turning challenges into opportunities? We’re looking for a **Head of Facilities** to lead our contact centre's facilities team and ensure a top-notch safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our employees. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain and improve our facilities infrastructure. The role requires an individual who can handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and leadership skills is required.

As the **Head of Facilities**, you will oversee every aspect of our facility operations, from strategic planning to hands-on management.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

- ** Facility Planning & Management**: Develop and execute a facilities management plan that aligns with our goals. Optimize our office space, manage leases, and coordinate with vendors to keep everything running smoothly.
- ** Health & Safety Compliance**:Be our safety champion Ensure we meet local regulations and company policies, conduct safety inspections, implement corrective actions as needed, and develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- ** Maintenance & Repairs**: Keep our facilities in tip-top shape. Oversee routine maintenance, address issues promptly, and create a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
- ** Space Optimization**: Work closely with department heads to understand their space requirements and plan for expansion or reconfiguration. Optimize seating arrangements and workspace design to enhance employee productivity.
- ** Budget Management**: Craft and manage a facilities budget. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure competitive pricing.
- ** Environmental Sustainability**: Lead our green initiatives Implement eco-friendly practices and explore ways to reduce our energy consumption and waste.
- ** Security Management**: Protect our team and assets. Implement robust security measures and coordinate with security personnel to monitor our premises effectively.
- ** Cross-functional Collaboration**: Partner with HR, IT, and other departments to address facility-related needs. Communicate clearly with stakeholders to deliver on their requirements.
- ** Emergency Response**: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct fire drills and training sessions to prepare staff for emergencies.
- ** Compliance & Regulations**:Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed about local regulations and industry standards. Ensure we comply with all health, safety, and facility management guidelines.
- ** Canteen Services**:Oversee our canteen operations to ensure quality food services and a comfortable dining environment for our staff. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor service levels to ensure compliance with established standards.
- ** Continuous Improvement**:Always look for ways to enhance our operations. Gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to boost efficiency and service quality.

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Matric essential and related qualification beneficial
- ** 5-10 years’ experience in facilities management,** ideally in a contact centre or similar environment
- Driver’s license
- Relevant OSHE qualifications and understanding of OSHE Act and space regulations
- MS Office proficient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience managing a facilities team essential
