Director : Monetization Partnerships

Our client is a proprietary media services, audio streaming and social media services provider. With a consistent record of growth and achievement spanning over 600m users globally, they are expanding within SA, the AMEA regions.
Their team includes award winning Digital, Social Media and Google Certified Specialists, who support Agencies to provide exceptional outcomes for their clients. They have an extensive range of clients ranging in size, value and category.
Seen as the go-to for next-level marketing and communication success, they have an opportunity for a Sales Director/Head of Monetization Partnerships to be responsible for South Africa and the Sub-Saharan region and own the entire sales cycle for that area.
This includes growing the pipeline to meet forecast requirements, generate well-qualified leads in partnership with all stakeholders - including the marketing & sales teams and all partner organisations. Reseller experience is therefore vital.
A digital native, you will be tech savvy; with a solid business acumen is and leadership skills. A strategic thinker with the ability to implement, you will be leading sales & marketing teams and their current leadership group will report directly to you.

**DUTIES**
Develop a National & Africa sales growth strategy
Lead the team to implement and manage the growth strategy by building relationships at multiple levels, including sponsors, influencers, and decision makers
Exceed annual regional and national reseller goals
Partnership with sales engineers, delivery and marketing teams to create targeted sales campaigns.
Lead an exceptional Business Development team to the next level. A mentoring leadership style is essential
Understand the needs and problems of potential and existing customers and interact with in-house product and development team for suolutions.
**Requirements**:
5-7 years experience within the digital media space
History of successful networking and relationship building
Knowledge and experience of procurement practices and processes and overall typical sales lifecycle for selling reseller platforms
Excellent understanding of the global digital and social media landscape
Experience in fast-paced, competitive environment/s
HIgh energy, positive outlook and enthusiasm
Based in South Africa
Knowledge and experience with cloud infrastructure technology would be beneficial
Experience having worked in a global scale-up, specifically within EMEA
