**Assistant Lodge Manager**

**Location***: Kwa Zulu Natal Northern Region near Sodwana**

**Basic Salary**:
**Salary Negotiations to be discussed at interview.**

**South Africa’s most pristine beach lodge requires an Assistant Manager too join their team, to maintain their already luxury brand and grow within the organisation.**

**Requirements**:
**Hospitality Diploma or tertiary qualification in Management**
- **English speaking, fluent in written and spoken English**:

- **Zulu (Speak) - certainly a great benefit**:

- **Driver’s License valid PDP essential**:

- **Valid First Aid Certification**:

- **South African Citizen**:

- **Physically fit, sober habits and in good health.**

**Work Experience**:
**Previous work experience of at least 2 years in management roles in related lodge environments.**
- **Management experience in luxury lodge environment - and a diverse and intense property**:

- **Focus on Guest experience delivery from kitchen (back of house) & bar and waitron departments (front of house)**:

- **Accustomed to reporting systems - daily & weekly; presenting month end packs to Operations & Finance Depts**:

- **Understanding of budget control and financial management and planning**:

- **HR functions of the lodge**:

- **Hands on staff management and staff disciplinary process**:

- **Delicately manage community staff and drive the development/upliftment process of employees**:

- **Eye for detail excellent front office skills**:

- **Experience and ability to train staff**:

- **Benefit to have a love for the ocean and beach environment.**

**Leave: Typically, 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off (may be adjusted during low occupancy)**
