**Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- At least 3 years in a similar position in a 4/5
- luxury hospitality environment
- experience in supervising Housekeeping and Maintenance is essential
- A relevant degree or tertiary qualification will be extremely beneficial
- Computer literate
- able to work on PMS systems in terms of reservations (INNKEEPER experience will be very beneficial) and generating reports.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite especially Excel
- must be able to work with figures and generate spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Written and Verbal
- both Afrikaans and Zulu will be beneficial
- Strong problem solving abilities with exemplary attention to detail
- Very organised with strong operational skills
- a systems person who constantly analyses and improves the efficiency of the departments
- Very professional and sets an example for the team
- but is a strong team player who understands the challenges facing each department and working actively with staff to effectively fix it
- Supervision of the House keeping Department: ensure HK standards are maintained throughout ALL areas of the lodge. Assist Housekeeping when needed, room checks, laundry checks, Ordering supplies and HR in terms of rosters etc.
- Supervision of the Maintenance Department: Coordinate the maintenance team effectively, help plan and execute routine maintenance and projects that need to be prioritised, Ordering and making sure supplies, materials and tools are properly utilised and stored.
- Front Office Department: Reservations and rates, check in/check out procedures, selling of activities (upselling), liaise between all departments any special requests in terms of guest requests
- Friendly, approachable and very guest oriented
- Valid Driver’s License essential

**Package**:

- Salary: R8 000 per month
- Accommodation (no pets/ children)
