Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an experienced and strategic **Revenue Manager **to optimize revenue and drive the financial performance of our client. You will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies, analysing market trends, and maximising overall revenue. A strategic thinker with a passion for maximising profitability would exceed in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the distribution of room inventory across multiple channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms, ensuring optimal visibility and availability.
- Build and manage relationships with third-party partners like OTAs and distribution platforms to drive growth and optimize channel performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies aimed at maximizing hotel occupancy and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams— including sales, marketing, and reservations— to ensure cohesive pricing strategies and competitive positioning.
- Implement and uphold best practices in yield management, rate parity, and distribution across all booking channels.
- Analyze and monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and performance data to refine pricing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain and manage the hotel group's revenue management systems and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively utilized.
- Lead training sessions for hotel staff on revenue management techniques and the use of relevant tools to foster team-wide expertise.
- Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and forecasts to senior leadership, providing actionable insights for business growth.
- Perform regular performance reviews, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends and opportunities for increasing revenue.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in revenue management, ideally within the hotel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems such as Opera, SynXis, or IDeaS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with different departments and external partners.
- Track record of implementing successful revenue strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Familiarity with the Cape Town hotel market is a plus.
