**Job Description**:

- As the Supply Chain Site Supervisor, your responsibility will not be limited to a specific area with a range of general duties being performed in receiving, warehouse, picking, packing and dispatch in order to effectively provide a service offering a delivery to an end user
- Liaise with suppliers, internal customers, colleagues and supervisors to ensure a suitable supply management process
- Collate materials requested and manage logistics around that process
- Ensures operational efficiency through effective scheduling, receiving, storage, issuing and Materials Handling processes
- Verifies quality, condition, and correctness of measure of all material received stores and dispatched goods.
- Interacts effectively with customers and Supply Chain colleagues.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with:

- Logistics Specialist: Supply Chain Officer/ Supply Chain Supervisor:

- Colleagues at the HOP and at the Distribution Centre (“DC”)
- Customers (End users)
- Suppliers
- Buying Department
- Ensure SAP System integrity.
- Ensures accurate date input into the SAP system.
- Handles material in safe manner.
- Operates all equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly

**This role is in the Supply Chain department at a Band 7 level reporting to the Warehouse Superintendent**
- Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Materials management/Logistics diploma/certificate - Advantageous

**Experience**:

- Proven track record in SAP Material Management (SAP MM)
- At least 2-3 years’ experience within a materials management in mining (advantageous)
- Logistics Knowledge
- Fully trained and experienced across all aspects of supply management, inbound, outbound and warehouse functions
- Basic business and commercial knowledge
- Time management skills
- Communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic negotiation skills
