**Job Description**:

- You will be responsible to deliver the requirements for every approved work package to be completed at the scheduled time. Utilise the processes that deliver materials, special tools, and contracted resources to the workplace for each task and must therefore ensure that all the specified items will be available for the required rate of each task.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Drive delivery the sustainability activities as relevant to discipline and set out in the Life of Asset plan to improve sustainability performance over time
- Support the development of, and ultimately implement, a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the teams that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity
- Implement management processes for employee & contractor management within work area
- Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid risks, using operational risk management systems
- Manage compliance of the teams within work area with external legislative, regulatory, permitting) local requirements as a minimum level of site performance
- Adhere to Anglo American compliance requirements and ensure compliance of teams within work area
- Manage adherence to compliance governance within the teams using systems to monitor compliance & manage non-compliance, participate in audit & implement required actions

**This role is in the Engineering Operating Department at a Band 6 level functionally reporting to the Section Engineering Manager.**

**Qualifications
- You will need the following**:

- Logistics/ Materials Management or Mechanical/Planning/Electrical/Industrial Engineering Diploma

**Experience**
- At least 3 years’ experience in materials management in mining/process Industry planning or scheduling
- Experience in long term planning
- Supervisor experience in work management would be advantageous

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- SAP knowledge of logistics, materials management planning and scheduling
- Logistics Knowledge
- Basic negotiation skills
