**ROLE PROFILE**

**CHANNEL EXECUTION SENIOR MANAGER: RETAIL**

**Focus, Scope, & Impact**:

- This role supports the Franchise Unit Leader, in developing our channel commercial execution growth pillars.
- Responsible to drive cold space expansion across the franchise in line with the strategic priority to double the bet.
- Lead the evolution of the Franchise’s Commercial processes (e.g.: RED - Right Execution Daily, SFA, Alternate Route-To-Market) as we evolve to a consumer-centric organization.
- Metrics Management: Custodian of all channel metrics Responsible to manage commercial metrics dashboards. This role will also provide commercial analysis and reports. Build right systems and routines to collate and publish reports for the team.
- Responsible for driving the Operating Unit Execution Cup - monthly reporting and tracking of progress, collation of quarterly results, for specific channel.
- Project management of various channel initiatives

**Experience**
- University Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Prior commercial/franchise operations experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to work across cultures, and multiple functions.
- Strong, proven self-starter with superior leadership skills and capabilities
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams to align resources towards a common goal, leveraging best-in-class approaches and methodologies; ability to effectively interact and influence various levels of management across the system.

**Work Focus**

The role requires exceptional information analysis as well as situational analysis to drive well-reasoned timely decision making.
- Development of alternative RTM solutions for rural areas, non-traditional channels/informal trade, wholesaler strategy, etc.
- Engaging bottlers with a focus on bias for execution excellence
- Investment analysis to optimize ROI for commercial initiatives.
- Deliver higher ROI on our Cold drink investments and ensure that we are driving productivity gains.

**Communication Focus**

This role requires significant interactions across the system, with Franchise leads, bottler counterparts and cross functionally (including the network of the Customer and Commercial function).

The complexities of communication entail:

- Interaction with a diverse range of organizational levels, ranging from function heads (Customer and Commercial, Franchise) to bottlers and commercial leads.
- External consultants and vendors of goods and services (cooler suppliers, etc.)
- Managing the balance of consulting and providing support to Franchise, including an appropriate level of push back where needed.
- Requires sensitivity to franchise issues and experienced interpersonal skills as well as presentation skills, both verbally and in writing.
