**Requirements**:
- Financial Background and qualification are essential to perform this job.
- Strong knowledge of SARS and Accounting is required.
- Supervisory skills and experience (planning, problem solving and decision making, motivation,strong leadership)
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good knowledge of pastel payroll and Xero accounting
- Good communication skills -verbal and written
- Concern for standards
- Ability to keep priorities in focus and meet deadlines
- Energy and stamina & Methodical method of working
- Attention to detail and the ability to sort and sift facts, noting inconsistencies
- Must be good at follow up
- Basic PC skills - MS Office and Apple Macintosh with OSX and higher.
- Grade 12 with Accounting and or Financial Management qualification and experience in basic accounting essential.
- Must be bilingual. The preferred languages are Afrikaans, English.
**Description**:
- Cash ups / Full banking
- To reconcile and balance cash, floats and dockets ensuring that these tally with daily income and expenditure of the restaurant/cocktail bar and reservations
- To notify management immediately of any variances in the above
- Resolving shortages on waiters’ or reservations’ cash-ups
- Ensure that the cash and relevant vouchers are securely and systematically kept
- Assist with waiters’ cash-up reports if necessary
- Reconciling credit card slips (POS & Reservations) with actual totals banked on the bank statement
- Filing of credit card slips for month-end purposes
- Ensure all online and electronic filing is done systematically on the servers and that accessibility to documents is communicated with management and ensuring mail is filed systematically and the relevant recipient attends to that correspondence
- Must be able to fill in when Financial Administrator goes on leave
