**Job Description**:
**So what will you do?**

iKhokha is looking to hire an ambitious Marketing Assistant who will be working closely with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our products As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials. You will be giving presentations about our ongoing campaigns and provide administrative support to our marketing and sales teams.

To be chosen for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role. A multi-tasker with good time management skills, strong communication and people skills. Customer oriented, patient and confident personality.

**The deal breakers**:

- 1- 2 years’ experience in Marketing
- Knowledge of and experience in ATL, BTL & Digital media
- Knowledge and experience in design and marketing will be advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile, Lean and Growth Hacking methodologies will be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in Admin tools such as Wrike, Avaza or similar will be advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
- A good command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Knowledge of tech or financial services advantageous
- Fintech Understanding

**What would you be responsible for?**
- Arranging promotional events
- Competitor Analysis
- Maintaining a marketing database
- Organising research including in-field immersions with suppliers
- Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns
- Presentation preparation by assisting the manager with analysing data and reporting
- Meet with various business stakeholders
- Manage status updates to various stakeholder on projects
- Communicate timeline updates of projects regularly
- Help to drive online traffic
- Daily communication with stakeholders on progress of tasks and projects.
- Update projects and tasks
- Work with external suppliers and key partners
- Communicate relevant changes

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree, Diploma or Certification in related field
