**Position**: Marketing Assistant

**Location**: Umhlanga, KZN

**About Us**:
Thula Moya Energy is a leading solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern. As we are a growing company and this role is ideal for someone who has previously interned and is looking to step into a more involved position.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Brand Management**:

- Assist in developing and maintaining the company's brand image across all marketing channels.
- Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials and communications.
- Support the execution of brand campaigns and initiatives.

**Lead Generation**:

- Implement strategies to generate leads through digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, and social media.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of lead generation campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate on creating and optimizing landing pages and forms.

**Market Research**:

- Conduct research to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare reports and presentations on market insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities and customer segments.

**Content Creation**:

- Develop marketing materials, including brochures, website content, presentations, and social media posts including ad hoc designs.
- Work closely with designers, writers, and other team members to create compelling content.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and messaging.

**Event Management**:

- Organize and manage the company's participation in industry events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistics, including event registration, booth setup, and promotional materials.
- Assist in post-event follow-up activities, including lead tracking and analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, SEO, and content management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
