**Purpose of the role**

The position’s primary responsibility is to support Compensation & Benefits Manager on driving Compensation & Benefits Projects and Communications for South Africa as per business needs and ensure deliverables can meet stakeholder’s requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead Market Comp & Benefits Orientation for new recruits
- Lead & Review Weekly & Monthly Salary Audit
- Administer & Track Budget for Sick Pay Fund, Work Security Fund, Housing Subsidy
- Administer Retirement Fund’s (Provident & Pension), including supporting with Death Claim investigation.
- Support Comp Planning ONLINE System
- Support Compensation & Benefits Manager to closely manage and monitor the utilization status and ongoing IBI Budget
- Support Market Governance Process for compensation programs to ensure that the market is fully aware and aligned with the regional and global governance requirement and follow the process for annual attestation and any changes based on business needs and market prevalence
- Analyze external market data and use technology to proactively identify and diagnose business needs/opportunities and develop solutions to meet those needs, ensuring alignment with the business strategies and objectives
- Participate external C&B survey and ensure data collection in proper and with accuracy
- Identify current and future reward/recognition benefit needs through daily hands-on experience to deliver appropriate solutions and provide supports on annual holistic benefits competitiveness analysis and annual benefits review if needed
- Coach, counsel and educate HRBO partners on C&B policies and
- Collaborate with payroll department for payments and
- Assume responsibility of timely payment of monthly 3rd Party
- Lead IS Administration
- Implement cost effective C&B
- Deliver on the C & B Department’s strategic priorities and objectives
- Identify and implement simplify / modernize opportunities
- Develop and ensure desk procedures/job aids are updated and maintained
- Ensure that the team remains motivated at all times.

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor or equivalent experience (Business HR, C&B related fields)
- At least 2-3 years Compensation and Benefits experience, including analysis, administration.
- Customer orientated with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work under tight deadlines, pressurized environment
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong presentation and computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365
- Problem solving
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills, self-starter with discipline
- Planning and organizing (plans, organizes, and prioritizes work to ensure that goals, objectives, and commitments are met)
- Sharing information and influencing others (strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise cross functionally, internally, and externally)
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and on own initiative
