Bookings Clerk

**Job Advert Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Bookings Clerk. As one of the faces of our dealership's service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating and managing all incoming calls for workshop bookings, booking-in of customers vehicles, and ensuring that our customers' needs are met promptly and efficiently.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Management of workshop bookings appointment process
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes
- Coordinate client service bookings between clients and service advisors
- Ensure accuracy of details pertaining to clients, services & issues raised
- Preparation of job cards
- Maintain accurate records of service history and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Administrative duties as required within the Service department
