Cape Town, South Africa Southern African Fruit Terminals (SAFT) Full time

The **Southern African Fruit Terminals **(SAFT) Group of companies is a well-established and reputable cold storage operator. SAFT provides management solutions for cold storage of fruit and other perishable industries.

**The position is based in Durbanville at our SAFT Atlantic facility.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Daily logístical planning of cold store dispatch activities (container bookings; Q67; loading instructions and daily planning) and the flow of information to all the relevant stakeholders.
- Allocation of daily timeslots for all fruit dispatches into containers or trucks.
- Preparation of documentation for dispatches and fruit inspections.
- Managing risks regarding logístical activities.
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
- Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification (B degree or equivalent) preferably in Logistics.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within the fruit industry.
- Working experience with a pallet management system such as Paltrack will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of fruit export documentation will be advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Experience in managing a small team.
- Work extended hours when required.
