Purpose
We are looking for someone who understands the tech industry and can lead us through the evolving virtual learning landscape where learning happens in the moment, authentically and when needed through the use emerging technology like podcasts, gamification, videos and apps. If you have experience in designing remote learning initiatives, leadership development and are known to be innovative, intensely passionate about helping people grow and are an outstanding facilitator of learning and development, we’d like to meet you.
In addition, this role will focus on the optimization of our workforce by linking learning and performance. It will lead our thinking on performance management best practice from goal setting and performance reviews through to peer feedback and team effectiveness. Ultimately, you will help our organization succeed by enabling a learning mindset culture and ensure our people perform and thrive.
We Do The Right Things - Responsibilities of the Role
- Create and execute learning strategies and programs.
- Deliver target interventions catered to all audiences throughout the organization, from the graduate and individual to the team and leader through to executive level with a specific focus on team and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead the organization’s performance management cycle and initiatives including a holistic approach to incorporate peer and 360-degree feedback.
- Establishes and owns performance management best practices, processes and tools.
- Make recommendations, adopt and implement the technologies and technical resources required to develop, manage and deliver training world-class learning, globally.
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
- Design and deliver virtual and in-person learning courses, workshops and other trainings across various learning methods across the organization (e.g. coaching, experiential learning, online training)
- Working closely with various leaders across the organisation and having a full understanding of their areas and learning requirements.
- Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training.
- Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
- Drive organization values and culture all learning and development activities.
- Keep abreast of learning and development trends, developments and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (essential)
- Work Experience
- 5+ years' experience of working as a L&D Manager٫ Training Manager or other relevant position, in a tech environment.
- Significant experience with effective learning and development methods.
- Practical experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience using e-learning platforms and practices like Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Skillshare and Coursera.
- Experience or certification in team effectiveness tool or models like StrengthsFinder, Insights Discovery or similar.
- Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
- Knowledge and Abilities
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
- Designing and supplying a variety of training styles.
- Working knowledge of performance management principles and practices.
- Excellent in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences, both in person and online.
- Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking.
- Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Well-developed and engaging facilitation skills.
