Maintenance Administrator

We are currently looking for a **Maintenance Administrator** to join our team.
The Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for assisting our Healthcare, Retirement Holdings and Property Management as well as leasing units with any and all maintenance queries and ensuring that all work activities are recorded on the various internal systems. This position will require the employee to stand in for Reception depending on operational requirements.

**Specific duties include, but are not limited to**:
**Maintenance Administrator**:
- Processing of all logged queries
- Issuing of Faircape quotes once contractors quotes are received
- Escalation of cases that have not been resolved
- Scheduling contractors to go on site visits and informing relevant individuals
- Ensuring that all quotes from the various entities are merged and approval has been received from the relevant manager
- Daily follow up regarding quotes, queries, and status of jobs issues
- Keeping all administration up to date
- Assisting the buying department if and when required
- Updating of asset register program, including uploading of new items as and when required
**Stand-in Receptionist**:
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing calls
- Taking down messages for unanswered calls
- Meet and greet visitors and liaise with them regarding general enquiries
**Qualifications**:
- Senior Certificate, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
**Experience and Knowledge**:
- Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling principles and process related to maintenance practices
**Skills & Attributes**:
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Proficiency Computer skills (experience in Google drive, docs, sheets advantageous)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills
- Accurate time management skills
- Strong administrative skills

We offer Barista produced coffee available all day to all our staff at Claremont.
Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 07h00 and 18h00.
With centrally located and modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont, Faircape offers a market-related salary from R 20 000 Cost to Company per month. The salary will be dependent on experience, qualifications, skills and attributes.
