Front of House Accommodation Manager

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Guest Relations:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
2. Accommodation Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accommodation facilities, including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and housekeeping.
- Ensure that accommodations are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with amenities.
- Oversee reservations and coordinate with other departments to accommodate guest needs and preferences.
3. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff and housekeeping team members.
- Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure high levels of service delivery.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and financial transactions.
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to front of house operations.
5.Marketing and Sales:
- Promote accommodations through various channels, including online travel agencies, social media, and local partnerships.
- Develop packages and special offers to attract guests and increase occupancy rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials and campaigns to showcase the accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and managing guest relations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of wine and the local tourism industry is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have own transport.
