**Assistant Operations Manager**

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of multiple hotel properties owned by our company, reporting to the Managing Director.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to achieve organisational goals.
- Ensure that the allocated hotel properties comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the preparation and management of annual operating budgets for each hotel property.
- Monitor financial performance of each property, analyse financial statements, and take appropriate action to maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for hotel employees.
- Ensure that the allocated hotel properties comply with legislation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and Marketing and accounting, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Ensure that the allocated hotel properties maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and security.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or 3-year diploma in hospitality management or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in hotel operations management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of legislation related to hotel operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Should be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment.
- Own transport.
