**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Work closely with business leaders as a business partner to understand their priorities and objectives, aligning HR activity to facilitate an environment in which these goals can be realised.

Understand key business targets/performance measures and maintain a good working knowledge of the performance of the company and the areas in which HR can positively contribute to improvement.

Provide a highly professional, confidential and efficient service of support to all employees, Managers and Directors in line with current employment legislation and best practice, providing expert HR advice and guidance on all people related matters and drive continuously improving business performance.

Identify areas for improvement and value add activities, owning these projects and initiatives from inception through to completion and integration, ensuring that project work of this nature continuously drives improved business performance and is measurable.

Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives to facilitate organisational development and capability, drive organisation change and foster a high performance, values based culture.

Act as an internal coach to People Leaders, Managers, Directors and associates as applicable, taking on the role of change agent and contributing to a learning culture which fosters proactivity, initiative and innovation.

Ensure the effective attraction, recruitment, selection and retention of high calibre employees and take responsibility to ensure that organisational staffing requirements are met through driving proactive and innovative recruitment practices.

Support and align performance measures with business goals

Support the performance management systems, succession planning and career pathing opportunities.

Support the Development the professional capability of all leadership roles and potential successors in relation to their people/HR management and business skills.

Ensure the business is compliant with all labour, equal employment opportunity and employee relations statutes and regulations.

Ensure all reward programmes and initiatives improve associate satisfaction and retention.

Support a workplace culture that enhances employee health & wellness.

Ensure accurate and up to date employee data administration.

To support and assist with all compensation and benefits initiatives.

Support the HR Manager in the management of the HR budget in terms of spend and forecasted spend.

To support global initiatives such as Workday, Gallup Strengths, Diversity and Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, Go Green and Associate Opinion Surveys.

Forge strong working relationships and work closely with other RCI regions and Panorama business units and share best practice and drive continuous improvement.

Build external networks with supplier ‘partners’, industry specialists and peers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential

At least 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role

Strong interpersonal skills and discretion/confidentiality

Team player with a high level of motivation and self-direction

Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise

Strong business acumen

Analytical and problem solving skills

Strong conflict resolution skills

Deep understanding of employment law and experience of complex employee relations situations

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence

Project management experience

Ability to multi task and work under pressure

Experience with implementation of HR initiatives

Desirable
Workday system knowledge
