**Job Purpose**
- To effectively manage the administrative and support functions of the Business Unit (BU) to contribute to the teams efficiency; effectiveness and reputation; as per Nedbanks business strategy.**Responsibilities**:
- Analyse all Business Units (BU's monthly expenses by checking all BU expense report for reasonableness, highlight any incorrect allocation or excessive amounts to Finance department and follow up and maintain a summary of once off large expenses processed.
- Contribute to the delivery of projects which contribute to improved functioning of the BU by meeting deliverables within set deadlines.
- Develop trusted relationships with the various business units resulting in meeting business requirements and delivering professional branded documents.
- Support team members resulting in an efficient working environment by delivering requirements timeously.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables through proactive and effective communication and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Gain commitment from the different stakeholders by maintaining collaborative relationships, increasing self awareness and understanding impact on other people.
- Manage deal information for reporting purposes by updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheet.
- Complete and maintain watch list for BU/Team by managing stakeholders to ensure completion and submission to compliance.
- Update and maintain Business Recovery Plan (BRP) by checking, loading, maintaining and signing off BRP.
- Ensure accuracy and relevancy of reports delivered to stakeholders by liaising with business units to ensure timeous updates.
- Assist the business unit with FICA documentation to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements.
- Provide requested information by collating data in response to ad hoc queries.
- Comply with risk standards by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures and escalating any identified risks within own area.
- Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Share knowledge with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction.
- Identify potential enhancements to processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations.
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
- Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g.. Green Strategy).
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- Business related Degree
- Minimum Experience Level- 3-5 years relevant Banking or Financial services experience
