**Overview/Description**

The primary role of the Operations Administrator is managing all administration related to any operational function. The main objective is to record information, analyze information for

deviations or exceptions and, in conjunction with the appropriate manager formulate the correct action to resolve or mitigate. The role provides administrative report to all business units for the Northern Region.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to manage all administration related to any operational function.
- Variable cost and expense registers and administration - monitor operations costs.
- Uniform and PPE stock management for 300+ employees.
- Basic procurement (obtain quotes, request purchase orders, track delivery and invoicing).
- Operational variable stock supply ordering, tracking, and reporting.
- Vehicle and MHE maintenance, mileage, and consumable tracking and recording.
- Track Service Schedule and ensure compliance.
- Daily MHE and Vehicle inspections, reporting, and planning.
- Annual MHE load test planning and schedules.
- Monthly fuel administration.
- Legislative trainings, requirement analysis, arrange training dates.
- Arranging and tracking annual employee Medicals.
- Arranging, tracking and verify certification training and licenses.
- Ensuring client site requirements / standards are adhered to.
- Maintain internal and external SHE Management System - Safety Files, appointments,
- Dol audits etc.
- IOD and Incident administration and reporting.
- Conduct on-the-job observation and assessment (planned and unplanned)
- Monthly SHE Rep meetings, co-ordinate, and report.
- Pallet Jacks - record keeping and monitoring.
- Annual business asset verifications, record keeping and monitoring.
- Office administration, stock ordering and reporting (stationery, printer, etc.).
- Checking daily handover pack, any exceptions to be resolve and reported.
- Weekly inspections completed and submitted to the client.
- Update and maintain Notice Boars with relevant material from all departments.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years’ administrative or supervisory experience in an operational environment.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office).
- Understanding of the Health and Safety act. (Including Covid-19 Requirements)
- Basic Economic and Financial skills
- Hard working and willing to work irregular hours.
- Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 17:00, with the expectancy to work
- occasional Weekends and other irregular hours, especially during peak periods as client’s
- volume & demand requires.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- administrative or supervisory in an operational environment: 2 years (required)
