**Job Advert Summary**:
As part of the Human Resources team the Talent Acquisition Specialist’s overall responsibility is to ensure that PetSure engages and employs the right, top talent for the continuing success of the business.
Furthermore, this role is designed to support internal growth and career progression opportunities through the mapping of roles, and translating the forecasted talent pipeline into the strategic recruitment plan. This position plays a critical role in delivering on elements of our Talent Acquisition strategy, having responsibility for driving our brand awareness in the external market as well as ensuring our programs have diversity and inclusion at the centre of all TA activities. Engaging with universities is also a huge part of the future-focus to develop our talent for the future. This position will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partner to design creative sourcing strategies to recruit top talent and manage the hiring processes from initiating recruitment through to onboarding.
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
**Experience**
Essential:
- Commercially savvy with excellent business acumen and awareness
- The ability to excel in a dynamic, agile, fast-moving environment and think on the run
- Proven presentation skills and ability to engage with multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, both from a client facing presentation perspective as well as formal written communication
Desirable:
- Knowledge with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
**Key Outputs**:
- Providing interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding recruitment policies, programs and practices
- Fill roles timely to ensure smooth business continuity
- Complete weekly recruitment tracker for continuous stakeholder feedback
- Collaborating with our hiring leads to help select the best people for the job and win them over.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of new recruitment policies and procedures
- Write job advertisements, create online comms for attraction purposes
- Review CV’s, conduct interviews
- Provide support and coaching to leaders on interview process and best practice
- Manage and advise for legislated diversity requirements
- Research issues and developing solutions to resolve recruitment business challenges
- Translate the forecasted talent pipeline into the annual recruitment plan
- Identify talent gaps across the business and work with leaders to fill the gaps both with internal and external resourcing
- Create engaging internal comms campaigns for secondment and internal job opportunities
- Partner with Universities/Colleges to increase brand awareness and drive new talent engagement
- Host and participate in job/career fairs.
- Engage with vendor/ recruitment agencies to build pipelines and leverage opportunities
- Coach managers on interview techniques to incorporate capability and culture discussion during their interviews Identify top talent and allocate appropriate career support
- Talent map internal roles for career progression
**Educational Requirements**:
**Knowledge/Qualifications**
- Formal tertiary qualifications in HR Management or Industrial Psychology
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Recruiter or similar role
