Sales Co-ordinator

**The Person**:
- Minimum Matric.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Pricing Co-ordinator or Estimator role.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Logistics and/or Clearing and Forwarding industry.****:
- Above average knowledge and understanding of supply chains.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Good administration skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office, ERP systems, CRM).
- Able to manage conflict and overcome objections.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Confident and assertive.
**Desired Requirements: Â**
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Experience dealing with bonded cargo and the various Customs requirements and implications.
- Knowledge of 3PL, 4PL and 5PL solutions.
- Knowledge of Customs and Port charges and processes.
- Previous experience with Profit and Loss statements.
**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Commercial Executive, integrate quality into the business by ensuring that every customer contact demonstrates absolute dedication towards providing first time, ideal solutions for the satisfaction of customers' immediate and future needs.Â

Estimates + Rates:
- Compile estimates/quotes according to customer requirements and scope of work, according to the relevant pricing guidelines.
- Ensure estimated charges correspond to customer rates in WINPIRATE.
- Quality check estimates.
- Save and distribute finalised estimates.
- Prepare professional proposals and presentations.
- Maintain customer rates and schedules in relevant systems and locations.
- Maintain buy and sell rate schedules in conjunction with Operations.
- Ensure all third party rates are marked up in accordance with company pricing policy.
- Attend to any queries timeously.
Tenders / RFQ's / NDA's:
- Complete Tenders / RFQ's in accordance with company processes and governance guidelines.
- Verify contractual term compliance with Legal and Insurance departments before finalising.
- Ensure correct level sign-off, internally, prior to submission.
- Submit tenders before deadlines.
- Follow up on tenders to establish outcome.
- Maintain tender calendar.
- Ensure adherence to laws and company policies.
