- The role of a Sales Support Specialist is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team by marketing our company’s brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.- Key Performance Areas:
- Perform administration of quotations.- Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product/service information, support, and pricing details in response to inbound inquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the brand’s products/services.- Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products/services sold.- Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the brand's products/services.- Ensure that the relevant quote is done on Customer Relationship Management system prior to releasing the quotation:
- CRM:
- Load opportunity
- Do/Load Quote
- Check/Load Values (Cost and Selling price)
- Leave in Identified with default close date
- Add tracking notes where applicable.
- Manage the quote and deal registration process through to completion by liaising with the Vendor, Design team, Accounts and Logistics where needed.- Provide daily feedback to Export Manager on quotes in progress, to include progress with timelines.- Revision of quotes as required. Example: amendments to bill of materials.- Compilation and distribution of backlog reports every Friday or as needed.- Perform any general administration duties in line with previous capabilities and competencies.- Provide sales support directly liaising with resellers for JHB and Africa- Vendor product and process knowledge.- Gain relevant knowledge of products and process by attending relevant training sessions.- Maintain a high standard in the quality of the work delivered-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Matric level Math and English.- Minimum Experience:
- 1-2 years of administration experience, specific to quotations with different vendors.- 2 years experience in a technical background preferred but not essential.- Relevant Diploma (business, administration, customer service) - preferred.- COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of relevant brand products and processes.- Knowledge of vendor structure to have the correct point of contact.- Excel Intermediate.- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail with numbers and grammar.- Demonstrated confidentiality.- Demonstrated ability towards business intelligence.- Emotional Intelligence.- Adhere to all policies and procedures that are implemented by the Company.- Attitude - always demonstrate the best professional demeanour in accordance with upholding the company's reputation.- Accountability - accountable for the consequences of your action, both positive and negative.- Teamwork
