**Responsibilities**:

**New Business Development**:

- Identify and prospect potential clients in target industries and geographic regions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
- Utilize various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals, to generate leads and build a robust pipeline.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to convert leads into new business opportunities.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations.
- Conduct needs assessments and thoroughly understand clients' staffing requirements.
- Present our outsourced staffing solutions to clients, emphasizing the value proposition and benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored staffing proposals and solutions aligned with client needs.
- Visit clients to establish relationships and assess optimal staffing requirements

**Sales and Negotiation**:

- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and differentiators of our outsourced staffing services.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set for the business development team.

**Market Intelligence and Analysis**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Gather client feedback and insights to provide input for product and service improvements.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
- Work with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to expand professional network and generate leads.

**Qualifications, Experience and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the outsourced staffing industry.
- Own reliable transportation
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities.

- Strong sales acumen and ability to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

**Industry Knowledge and Personal Attributes**:

- In-depth understanding of the outsourced staffing industry, including temporary staffing, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), or managed services programs (MSP).
- Familiarity with industry-specific challenges, trends, and regulations.
- Self-Motivated and Results-Driven
- Proactive and self-driven with a strong desire to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the business development process.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Understanding of South African labour law, BCEA and bargaining
