**Business Development Specialist**

**Working Hours: 9am - 10pm - Monday - Friday.**

**Introduction**:
Our company is a world leader in the design, manufacturing and supply of unique physical perimeter security barriers. We currently require the services of experienced hard-working Business Development representative focusing on the **USA markets**, to join our professional sales team based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
- 3-5 years Business Development experience in a fast paced environment
- Must have experience in working with the USA markets
- Must have the ability to cold call and engage with USA based clients
- Computer literate (PowerPoint Presentation and Excel skills would be required)
- Public speaking ability, in order to present our products and services to an audience (often in the form of a Power Point presentation)

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Good understanding of the USA markets.
- Ability to ask the “right” questions with regards to prospective clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with both superiors and colleagues
- Act in a professional manner at all times
- Ability to interact with clients at all levels
- Ability to exchange ideas and reach consensus Results focus
- Ability to network and secure appointments
- Ability to close deals
- Ability to work at a fast pace and remain self-motivated
- Meeting daily activity quotas
- Ability to overcome obstacles and handle objections
- Ability to find innovative solutions
- Establish, grow and maintain all business relationships with prospective and current clients

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
