We are looking for a Projects Administrator. The primary purpose of the Projects Administrator role is to provide administrative and secretarial support to the PMO Manager in support of running the project portfolio. The Projects Administrator typically assists with managing documentation, budget tracking, data management, procurement, general project activities and facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of regional processes and procedures.
- Assist in developing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, stakeholders, and departments.
- Project log management
- Procurement process administration and support
- PMO work management (meetings, minutes, action tracking,
support maintenance of project systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic project environment.
- Knowledge of mining operations and terminology is desirable.
- Excellent presentation & report writing skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documentation and data management.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments
- Ability to adapt to changing processes
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated involvement in a project from initiation to closure
- Demonstrated involvement in transformational projects
- Familiarity with governance, change management, enterprise architecture and business improvement frameworks and methodologies
- Highly organised, meticulous individual with the ability to multitask, work independently and with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate across various levels in an organisation
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
- Effective support and coordination for project management processes and documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination among project teams and PMO stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in project reporting an documentation.
**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in IT/IS/Engineering
- Postgraduate degree would be beneficial
- Additional education or certification in project management or
administration is advantageous (e.g., CAPM/Prince 2.PMP)
- 7 years’ proven work experience as a project administrator or coordinator in a complex operating environment
- Expert Microsoft Project, Enterprise project, planner, and project online skills
- Experience with other web-based project management platforms and working knowledge of MS product suite
- PowerBI skills would be advantageous
