We are seeking someone with a Matric Certificate & a minimum of 2 years sales experience. Decorating & Marketing qualifications would be an advantage.

You will be responsible for the opening, closing and managing the day to day operations at our upmarket showroom.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our products.
- Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationship with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Discover customers’ needs and offer solutions to them through the company’s services or products.
- Research sales statistics and establish sales potential with new businesses in our target area (George).
- Become an expert in our product offerings and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products.
- Assemble product displays in a given market.
- Determine new ways to make products appealing by observing the environment and current trends.

**Skills and qualifications and/or experience**
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals
- Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and customers
- Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
- Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands
- Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs
- Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection
- Excellent organization and management capabilities, including being a team player

**Qualities and attributes**
- Empathy: Must have the ability to imagine themselves in the customer’s position and make suggestions directly related to their needs.
- Focus: Meet with many different clients, focus on the company’s mission is especially important to ensure sales and goals are met.
- Autonomy: Often work independently and must manage their own schedule and time efficiently in order to successfully make sales.
- Positivity: Should maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers, even if the customers are expressing concerns about the product or service.
- Confidence: Must be confident in both their ability to sell to a customer and their company’s product or service.
