**Talent Candey** is currently looking for an **Office and Screening Manager** to join their team based on the **Bluff, DBN**

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 and additional courses or education will be beneficial.
- Must have ideally 2+ years’ experience in Payroll & Accounts.
- Previous experience working on Sage Pastel/ Sage VIP.
- Advantage if you have worked on a MIE system will be beneficial.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Admin & HR**:

- Assists & work side-by-side with the Chief Operating officer.
- Implement and maintain office procedures/systems.
- Manage the Admin / HR / Accounts departments.
- Maintain employee data and keep updated accounts of all employment records.
- Assemble, maintain, and create personnel files i.e. current, new & previous employees.
- Deal with correspondence, complaints, and queries from clients and customers.
- Assist with formatting CVs when required.
- Amend commission sheets with invoice numbers and payments made by clients in preparation for payroll.
- Provide HR Support to employees.
- Manage petty cash.
- Tend to walk-in customers.

**Payroll & Accounts**:

- Create weekly wage payslips on Excel for employees, that contain hours worked & leave days taken.
- Prepare & generate monthly payslips on Sage VIP and send them out to employees.
- Verify working hours and pay rates.
- Create and collect daily & monthly timesheets.
- Tracking employee absence.
- Gather & maintain employee leave days on VIP.
- Calculating pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
- Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave, and non-taxable wages.
- Add new employees’ data on Sage VIP (e.g. bank accounts, tax identification numbers & personal information) into internal databases.
- Ensure that all containers that have been lashed are accounted for on an Excel spreadsheet for invoicing.
- Capture Bank Statements & Credit Card Statements for reconciliation in the General Ledger on Pastel.
- Create and process invoices for billing on Pastel.
- Create and send out quotes to customers & clients.
- Capture supplier invoices on Pastel.
- ‍Follow up with clients on outstanding payments.

**MIE Screening**:

- ‍Manage the screening department entirely.
- Provide ‍ITC / Credit checks, Qualification verification, Drivers License Verification, and provide Expungement services etc.
- ‍Provide MIE training to new staff.
- Conduct call-outs; out-of-office Criminal Checks.
- Deal with correspondence, complaints, and queries from clients and customers.
- ‍Create & design Ads. on Canva, and post ads. on Social media to market screening services.
- ‍Determine & regulate pricing on screening services, profit & losses.

**Working Hours**:

- Mondays to Thursdays from 07:30am to 16:00pm
- Fridays from 08h00am to 15h00pm

**Remuneration**:
Salary range R10 000 -R12 000 per month depending on experience
