Key Accounts Manager

**Purpose**: To plan, direct and coordinate the activities of major accounts in the Retail Division and to ensure sustainable growth on an annual basis. The KAM will manage large retail accounts with a dedicated focus on customer service, retention, sales generation, and new business leads.
**Responsibilities and duties**
Ensure individual targets are met
Achieve sales targets, growth, margin, and customer satisfaction in the Retail market by selling Magnets range of technical services, solutions and products.
Manage day to day needs of Key retail clients
Manage all communication internally and externally with regards to new store design and dispatch
Monthly updates to Customer
Manage all communication about stock and pricing to customer
Work closely with key supplier and operations to ensure customer stock needs are met on time
Grow business in retail sector
Expose key client to new technology and products to increase sales basket and turnover
Lead new retail customer opportunities by coordinating internal team and supplier to offer them the best and most competitive lighting/solar/electrical solutions expand the businesss consumer base and sales volume in the process
Ensure all accounts are managed in accordance with SOP
Ensure compliance to internal operational procedures, controls, and reporting.
Build and manage sustainable business relationships at all levels internally, and within the external accounts.
Complete reporting of activities on the CRM system in a diligent manner
Collaborate in the preparation of regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
Identify opportunities for new products or projects and take technical specialist to scope and design solution
Take relevant Suppliers to customers to grow brand understanding/awareness
Manage profitability of Accounts
Continuously monitor your margin on target accounts

Understand your product mix and where you are losing/gaining margin in your monthly review
Ensuring internal teams are delivering the right products/solutions on time in a cost efficient manner
Support Project Administrator in administrative aspects of account management
Assist in closing off outstanding order numbers
Ensure accounts are paid in required payment period and assist where there are issues
Assist in other administrative needs as required
