**About the role**:
The Key Account Manager will focus on identifying opportunities and creating sustainable profitability for Kerry within the food service market with specific focus on key accounts.
We need someone with highly developed influencing and communication skills that can develop and maximize multi-level relationships in key customers to secure long term business growth.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Achieve budgeted targets while maximising Kerry’s profitability in the assigned food service key accounts across South Africa
- Focus on developing new business across the menu as well as supporting and driving LTO offerings.
- Be Kerry’s food service expert in your market and capable of sharing trends and market insight both internally and externally
- Identify and deliver a portfolio of quality growth projects
- Work closely with marketing and the Culinary team.
- Ensure the consistency and growth of Kerry’s existing business within the assigned region
- Develop strong, strategic relationships within the customers’ organisation
- Recommend and implement sound, sustainable business pricing decisions
- Uphold utmost compliance to Kerry’s processes, systems and tools
**Qualifications and skills**:
- Minimum 4 years Sales Management experience in the QSR Food Service industry.
- Language proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally for business
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Basic forecasting
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly developed influencing and communication skills
- Ability to build multi-level relationships within a customer
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to think outside the box
