The role requires developing trust relationships with major clients to prevent them from turning to competitors. It involves acquiring a thorough understanding of customers' needs and expanding relationships by proposing suitable solutions. Timely delivery of products and services is essential, along with resolving issues and maintaining customer trust.

The role also involves generating new sales, meeting financial targets, and providing progress reports to stakeholders. Collaboration with various departments is necessary to meet key client needs and become the preferred vendor. Acting as a liaison for potential OEM partners, active participation in events, and creating target customer strategies are important aspects. Staying updated with market trends and competition is crucial, along with taking responsibility for key account-related turnover.

Essential Requirements for the Role:

- Degree in business administration, sales or a relevant field
- Ideally a BSc/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be preferred.
- Experience working for a manufacturer in the HVAC field.
- Professional experience in B2B sales in the HVAC industry
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Handle complete sales life cycle and customer complaints.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Willingness to relocate if required.
