Data Compliance Coordinator

**Purpose of Role**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage customers Privacy Requests on a daily basis, within the stipulated timeframes, by following due processes.
- Creating, revising, and updating training material and legal template content, along with process documentation for training purposes and the Internal Knowledge Base as changes to processes occur and as we move into new territories.
- Answering staff queries and educating employees on Privacy matters should they need assistance or upskilling.
- Work with the Data Compliance manager to prioritize any urgent work to ensure that the team is working on the highest value items first.
- Creating reports and pulling statistics monthly, to present to the Info Security and Compliance committee at the monthly Committee meetings.
- Creating agendas and taking minutes of monthly committee meetings for the different territories.
- Keeping abreast with and up to date with all new Privacy laws should we go into new territories, alongside the Data Compliance manager.
- Assisting on any other tasks assigned to the Data Compliance department.
**Requirements**:
- Five or more years of mid-level experience in the iGaming arena.
- Formal or technical writing skills and have excellent typing, verbal and written communication skills, with VERY strong attention to detail and able to work with repetitive legal templates.
- An understanding of the regulatory landscape, industry knowledge, and the ability to assess risks, solve problems, interpret data, and communicate effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills and experience and have good knowledge of customer relationship management.
- A good knowledge of the processes and systems we currently use on the WHG Platform.
- A good knowledge of MS Office and all functionalities.
- Can work in a very fast-paced and pressured environment.
- Have a good work attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Must be open, honest, and trustworthy.
- Able to use planning tools available to plan and manage a workday without on-going supervision.
- Be able to use your own initiative and be willing to learn new skills or aspects of the job, on the fly.
**Nice to have**:
- Preferably some expertise in data protection laws and practices, including a good understanding of GDPR / PIPEDA etc.
- Some experience in the training field.
